The Cactus ~ Superb accomodation in Saint-Roch, Downtown Quebec

Did not match advertisement. Disappointing due to accessibility (59 steep stairs), comfort, noise, and privacy issues. Positive: It was clean and beautifully designed with cute cactuses. Negative: The property is not accessible. It requires climbing 59 very steep, narrow, old stairs, and this is not mentioned anywhere in the listing. There is also a bar directly beneath the building, which can contribute to noise. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, and the building itself is quite old. The unit shares a hallway with the neighboring units, and there is a second door inside the apartment leading to the shared hallway that does not have a secure lock. You can clearly hear neighbors talking, walking, and other everyday noise throughout your stay.

Positive: Beautiful apartment. The beds and linen are extremely comfortable. Very quiet. Well situated. Negative: Parking a little farther off. Doesn't matter if you don't have a bunch of stuff to bring. Lots of stairs so maybe not for someone with limited mobility
