The Cactus ~ Superb accomodation in Saint-Roch, Downtown Quebec

Très calme ou impossible de dormir... Positive: L'appartement est bien équipé, il est spacieux et confortable. Negative: Il y a une boite de nuit et un bar spectacle juste à côté. Ce n'est pas un simple restaurant/spectacle. Le quartier est très calme en dehors des soirs où la boîte de nuit est ouverte jusqu'à 3h du matin. Si vous n'êtes pas noctambule, cet appartement n'est pas pour vous.

Nice but noisy Positive: Apartment was very nice inside and having use of a washing machine and tumble dryer was great. Location was good - good supermarket was nearby and it was not too far to walk from the railway station or into the old town. The kitchen was well equipped but unfortunately was missing a corkscrew. Negative: There was no air conditioning and the apartment did get very hot during our stay. It was also quite noisy late into the night / early morning with music from a bar below.
