The Mexico ~ Elegant accomodation in the heart of Downtown Quebec

Great place if you don't mind not being able to sleep. Positive: The apartment was clean and cute and only a 30 minute walk to old Quebec City. Negative: There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment with no hand railing sometimes causing it to be potentially very dangerous. Very steep going down too. The building itself is terrible for noise. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the apartments around you, especially the apartment above who have a baby. This would have been fine if we were able to sleep in the night but the night club below is extremely loud with singing, screaming and loud base until about 3am. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and probably got about 3 hours sleep each night because of the building's noise and location being above a bar.

Pretty well. A few minor things would have been good to have : paper towels, better places outlets, another comfortable chair in the living area

Great little place very close to downtown Old Quebec. Very warm and cozy apartment with Tons of character. Close to everything and tons of restaurants. We loved our stay here and David our host was very helpful when needed and fast quick response. You really can't beat this place especially for the price. If you are not a sound sleeper this might not be for you. You do hear a fair bit of street noise and the people above you hear walking all the time especially at 530am when they get up for work. We didn't mind it, it was all part of the experience but if you don't sleep well this might be a concern. We loved it and if we ever come back, we will look into this place again. Thanks David

Positive: Loved the decor and set up in the living room Negative: The 2 rooms were only separated by double glass doors. At least the glass was frosted.
